For the Love of Bagels
Yaba's Bagels was born out of family tradition, passion, and a love for bringing people together through food. The story starts with Lena, whose entrepreneurial drive was sparked by the bagel-making craft passed down from her father — a man who learned the trade working in the iconic bagel shops of New York City.
Carrying that legacy with her to Atlanta, Lena partnered with her husband Ahmad to turn that family tradition into something the Dunwoody community could call their own. Together, they built Yaba's into a neighborhood staple where New York-style bagels meet Mediterranean-inspired flavors — honoring the past while creating something entirely new.
