Halal Breakfast Catering in Atlanta: What to Know Before You Order

If you're ordering breakfast for a team that includes halal observers, the menu needs a little more thought than usual — but not nearly as much as you'd think. Here's what matters and how to get it right.

What "halal breakfast catering" actually means

For breakfast, the halal question almost always comes down to meat. Standard breakfast meats — bacon, sausage, ham — are pork-based and not halal. The fix is simple: halal-certified turkey bacon and turkey sausage, which taste like the real thing and keep the whole spread compliant.

Everything else in a typical breakfast spread is naturally fine: bagels, cream cheese and other schmears, eggs, fruit, pastries, coffee, and juice. A bagel-centric breakfast is one of the easiest halal-friendly catering orders you can place.

What to ask your caterer

  1. "Do you offer halal meat options?" Specifically halal turkey bacon or turkey sausage — not just "turkey bacon," which isn't automatically halal.

  2. "How do you avoid cross-contamination?" Ask whether halal items are prepared and packed separately from pork products. A good caterer will have a clear answer.

  3. "Can I get it in writing on the order?" Put "halal" on the order itself so there's no game of telephone between you, the caterer, and the delivery driver.

Our halal breakfast options

At Yaba's Bagels, several of our breakfast sandwiches feature halal turkey bacon:

  • Egg and cheese with halal turkey bacon — $10.00

  • The Bodega (halal turkey bacon, egg, American cheese, hash brown) — $11.00

  • The Hotlanta (scallion cream cheese, egg, cheddar, turkey bacon, hot honey) — $13.00

And the rest of the breakfast spread needs no modification at all: bagels by the dozen ($3.50 per person), bagels with cream cheese, hummus, or Nutella ($5.00), fresh fruit platter ($97), and Seasonal Fruit Bowl ($69) are all halal-friendly as-is.

Just mention halal when you order — on the CaterCow order, in the quote request, or over the phone — and we'll handle the rest.

Building a halal-friendly spread for the office

For a mixed group where some people observe halal and some don't, you don't need two separate orders. One spread works:

  • A dozen bagels with two schmears ($42, serves ~12) — the base everyone shares

  • Egg-and-cheese with halal turkey bacon sandwiches for the meat-eaters who need halal ($10 each, 5-sandwich minimum)

  • Fresh fruit platter ($97) or Seasonal Fruit Bowl ($69) — the universal side

Everyone eats from the same table, nobody needs a special plate, and nobody's wondering what's in their sandwich.

Frequently asked questions

Is all your turkey bacon halal?

The turkey bacon in our halal menu items are halal. Just say "halal" when ordering and we'll make sure you get the right version.

Do you deliver halal catering?

Yes — throughout Dunwoody, Sandy Springs, Brookhaven, Chamblee, Doraville, Roswell, Alpharetta, and the greater Atlanta area.

What's the minimum order?

Individually wrapped breakfast sandwiches (including halal options) start at 5 sandwiches. Platters serve 10–24.

Can you do a fully halal breakfast for a large group?

Absolutely. For 20+ people, we'd typically do bagel sets + halal breakfast sandwiches + fruit. Request a quote with your headcount and we'll build it out.
